Let the West End come to you this Christmas and enjoy a magical children?s show in the comfort of your own setting!

?The Toytown Christmas!? is a two man show written in-house at Theatrebugs specifically for a young audience. It has no scary characters, lots of interaction and it is jam packed with song, music and festive fun, along with a special guest appearance from the real Santa Claus!

?Parents have also been invited to watch the show with their children as the children constantly talk about Theatrebugs and wish to share the excitement of the show!?

Joanne Richards Children Centre Project Officer, Bexley Heath Borough

The Princess is upset because she can?t find her favourite Rag Doll. Luckily Policeman Plump is nearby to investigate. With the help of the boys and girls, he visits Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Jack in the Box and the Toy Soldier before finally ending up in Santa?s Toyshop: they may even meet the big man himself! Ho, Ho, Ho!

A fun filled interactive Christms show right there in your chosen venue- written in house at Theatrebugs specifically for the nursery and Key Stage 1 age group; no scary characters, lots of interaction and jam packed with song, music and festive fun!

"A great mix of educational activities done in a fun,

interactive way; we have already booked our performance for next year!"

Sheena Gilby, Head teacher, Pound Park Nursery, Greenwich

?This Christmas Fair was the best ever in terms of entertainment and fun. Angelina and other kids loved the Theatrebugs Christmas Panto. We would love to see

more performances at the nursery and would be happy to pay for tickets!?

    • thanks Jenijenjen and all - yes, i remember walking or taking the bus from the elephant (where i was working) to Camberwell to get there.  I think Tim - who's still at Franklin's -  was there in those days, and the woman who ran the cafe!  Other food places that i remember fondly are the ones in Neal's Yard (with the Hunkin sculpture that you could put a coin in ) and the basement lunch place at the Tottenham Court Road junction with Hanway Street...
    • Did you try the emergency number posted above? It mentions lift breakdowns over the festive period outside the advertised  times. Hope you got it sorted x
    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
    • Adapted not forced.  As have numerous species around the world.  Sort of thing that Attenborough features.  Domestic dogs another good example - hung around communities for food and then we become the leader of the pack.  Not sure how long it will take foxes to domesticate, but some will be well on their way.    Raccoons also on the way https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1j8j48e5z2o
