This week the council felled a healthy, beautiful tree in Cornflower Terrace with no notice o the community at all - which is a violation of the 2021 Environmental Act, which requires them to notify and consult for 28 days. Now they just put up a notice saying they’ll immediately fell another in Dunstans Road because of what looks like the words ‘Weak pork.’

They’re mutilating the neighbourhood with reckless unconcern for the law. Is there a local paper we can talk to?

There have been people fairly recently killed by having apparently healthy trees  in parks fall on them.

The council tree people like trees. They don't remove trees without a very good reason.

To talk about "mutilating the neighbourhood" and "reckless unconcern for the law" seems a bit harsh when you don't know the background.

Why don't you find out why these trees have been/will be removed ? It's quite easy. A phone call will probably tell you:
