Wintering: A Guided Breathwork Journey

As we move into the stillness of Winter, nature invites us to slow down and turn inwards. The days shorten, nights get colder and we’re reminded that rest is not a luxury, but part of the rhythm of life itself.

In this guided Conscious Connected Breathwork journey, we’ll explore the concept of Wintering - not only as a season, but as a metaphor for times in life when we're called to pause and retreat within ourselves, for healing and repair.

Through the breath, we make space to release, reflect and reconnect with ourselves, embracing the process of renewal and honouring both the darkness and the light that follows.

About Me

I’m Lily, a certified breathwork facilitator (Alchemy of Breath) and trained meditation teacher (British School of Meditation). My approach to breathwork isn’t about chasing peak experiences. While powerful moments can arise, I believe the real healing lives in the quieter moments, when we meet ourselves exactly as we are, sit with what’s uncomfortable and learn to soften around it.

My sessions are crafted to support nervous system regulation, emotional processing and deep rest. My intention is to create a space where you feel safe enough to listen, feel and gently reconnect with yourself.

Before You Book

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a potent practice and may not be suitable for everyone. Please read the following contraindications carefully. This session is not recommended if you have:

  • Delicate pregnancy
  • Diagnosed bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
  • Cardiovascular disease or high blood pressure
  • Detached retina or glaucoma
  • Brain or abdominal aneurysm
  • Epilepsy
  • Uncontrolled diabetes or thyroid conditions

If you’re unsure whether this is right for you, feel free to reach out.

What to Bring

  • A bottle of water
  • Loose, comfortable clothing
  • An eye mask (optional, but recommended for a deeper experience)

Aftercare

The beauty of breathwork is that so much of the benefit is in the integration. So, if possible, schedule in time for rest and quiet reflection after the session.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!

    • Which is a perfectly legitimate political position to take and somewhat parallels the (equally legitimate) 'I hate Tories' or  'I love Labour' positions taken by other posters. Or indeed 'I hate car drivers and owners' or 'I love cyclists' positions frequently paraded.
    • There have been people fairly recently killed by having apparently healthy trees  in parks fall on them. The council tree people like trees. They don't remove trees without a very good reason. To talk about "mutilating the neighbourhood" and "reckless unconcern for the law" seems a bit harsh when you don't know the background. Why don't you find out why these trees have been/will be removed ? It's quite easy. A phone call will probably tell you:
    • And accommodation for servants too.   Grouse shooting?  Sorry, it's easy to take the Michael.  I've been peering at a hole in the ground on Woodhall Drive a private road in West Dulwich.  There used to be a £2million house there but expect something far grander.  Although it's been a big hole for some time now.  I have a legit reason to be on that road and always wave to the CCTV.
    • Thanks for posting this, I've always been intrieged by that house having glimpsed it passing by..It truly is the dream
