There's a Library of Things in East Dulwich now, based at the Leisure Centre. https://participate.libraryofthings.co.uk/dulwich If you click on "Explore the Things" the things don't seem to be specific to Dulwich, so I'm not sure if every library has every thing, but there is a Rug Doctor and a steam cleaner on the list (not specifically an upholstery cleaner). -

The palm was once decorated with Hamlet scarves, I seem to recall. And there has been a small Christmas tree on Goose Green some years. I think it was connected with a primary school?
