Tibbytubs
I went to Dawson heights last week to go and collect something that someone was giving away for free, duration on the parking charge notice says 16 minutes, I had no idea that there were ampr cameras that would give me a parking charge and the signage was tiny and I wouldn't have thought that something like this would have happened as anyone had experience of this. And does anyone know if the residents here can put my registration number into the ampr system afterwards to help with my appeal process? Happyme5
We git a ticket when we tried to park there to watch the fireworks. Anyways we didn't even get a space and so we didn't actually park. But we got a penalty notice. We just paid up. And we won't be taking our car their ever again. You probably needed a Southwark council visitors permit. I imagine it would have needed to be booked online B4 or by the end of the day that you parked. Beat thing to do is contact Southwark Council Estate parking to clarify the situation. I hope your freebie was worth the value of your penalty. mary123 Posted Friday at 06:41 Share Posted Friday at 06:41 The residents & families of the estate are getting parking fines, out of the blue , the residents parking system waa changed from Southern to Sippi with cameras put up in the car park and people issued with fines entering the estate for more then 10 minutes , families can no longer pick up or drop off family due to a new 10 minute wait fine. Residents are appealing with Sippi and Southern as there was no letters to consult of a parking change, new waiting times or fines, delivery drivers are getting fines everyday, if you get a fine, appeal it, there is no signage up to say about parking fines or waiting time 1 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/370907-dawson-heights-parking-charge-notice/#findComment-1730978 Share on other sites

Happyme5 Posted yesterday at 14:51 Share Posted yesterday at 14:51 Luckily I don't really any regular reason to park at Dawson Heights. It must be very difficult for the residents I do feel for them. Thank you for them. I just presumed that Southwark owned the estate and would be responsible for parking enforcement there. ANDY B
Hi I think Southwark owns the land I have just seen signs going up regarding 10mins waiting time but not easy to see and I would say very hard to see in the dark but no signs with a camera regs Andy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/370907-dawson-heights-parking-charge-notice/#findComment-1731290 Share on other sites
