We moved into our property in early July and are planning on landscaping the garden in early spring next year. We are doing prep work at the moment. There's a large unpruned wisteria (that didn't flower this year). I'm looking for a gardener to come round and have a look and potentially prune. Can anybody recommend someone?

Thanks, Jacob.

I can't offer to do it, but wisteria has to be pruned twice a year.

So you need a gardener who knows what they are doing rather than someone who will just come and hack it back regardless (though it might need that).

Good luck!

PS Has it flowered in previous years? Apparently they don't flower when they are young.

Hello

Wisteria does need pruning twice a year & this is the first month it needs doing. The whips need pruning back to the third bud from the main stem & probably a few main stems need pruning. It needs feeding to prune . I have been a gardener for 23 years & can do this for you
