This is the centrepiece of any room, and a superb decoraation for XMas too. It has been in my lounge for many years and now time to find it a new home. Unlock your 'inner Goth' with this eyecatching candelabra. It's very unusual, and I doubt if you'd easily find another.

It stands 58'' tall and looks even more amazing when all the candles are lit, There are seven candle holders, and more recently I've bought them from a well known Swedish household chain, where their large candles are reasonably priced.

It's not at all flimsy, but a solid and very heavy item, not one for taking home on the bus! Fortunately it easily unscrews into top and bottom halves,my first photo shows how the base separates, but still heavy nonetheless.

And yes, some of the candleholders do bend in a little, but I'm certain that's the original casting, as the arms are too solid to bend back20250812_180516_resized.thumb.jpg.577d797f90419798f5178b991a1a496f.jpg. The candles (which I've now used, so none supplied) easily adjusted to remain upright for safe lighting.

Sadly it's now time to pass it onto someone else as no room for it anymore, hence my asking price of only £50 for an item that must have cost far more when new..

I'm in West Dulwich.

    • I’ve been looking at their website from time to time over the last few years and I was sure that at least one loaf - the signature sourdough - is supplied by the BreadBread bakery who are at a lot of markets at weekends and who used to have a small cafe bakery shop in Brixton Market. I used to go there specifically to get their bread.   They are also affiliated with Franco Manca.  That was the first FM, co-founded by Bridget Hugo, who died last year. BreadBread also supplied the bread for the now closed Crooked Well pub restaurant (but now open under a different name - The Kerfield Arms)  in Grove Lane SE5.  Not sure where the pastries come from but it doesn’t seem possible to choose which ones to have delivered.  I do think they chop and change the suppliers from time to time.  I like the look of the (expensive) crullers they sometimes have plus granola, the savoury pastries and expensive bagels.  They frequently have special offers for a first delivery.  40% is the highest discount I’ve seen so far. I too would be worried about a fox being an opportunist.
    • Yes, they sound excellent.
    • Maybe the signor in question spotted some hot jacuzzi action and just had to stop in?
