Christmas Tree collection

Hello!

Don’t suppose anyone knows the drill with tree collection? Put a request into the council and they just said to leave it on the kerb and it’d be collected on the next organic waste collection day

We don’t normally get organic waste collection, so no idea what day of the week this is?

 

council haven’t emailed since enquiry, so a little unsure and don’t just want to leave it on the side!

But just a gentle nudge… please don’t leave them blocking the pavement if you can avoid it. It can make life hard for people pushing buggies, or if you’re a wheelchair user or visually impaired.

If your tree is over 5ft you are meant to cut it short. Not that in the past I've seen over height trees rejected.

Most folk are leaving them to block pavements, with no thought for pedestrians, especially those who may find it more difficult and dangerous to use the footpaths. Shameful
