It might be worth mentioning Southwark is now part of South East London ICS. There system might cope with latter.

A web trail shows IT's numbers progressively closing and referrring you to the next one along -- that last being Heathow, which is  nevertheless apparently still open.  That seems to me to leave maybe Sutton or Kingston as the next nearest in their list of open branches, but my brainmaps don't have much in them about Essex way  Ah, hang about.  Look at

which says it handles Lewisham on their local scheme, but perhaps the SE London ICS will have a different arrangement, so I also second the suggestion to contact them.

Do Medequip also supply cryptic crosswords, Sudoku or other puzzles?

They don't need to, trying to track them off enough of a challenge.

If, for some odd reason, Mediquip can't or won't take back the items, then White Eagle Ukraine Appeal in Balham will very gratefully accept donations of clean medical equipment and unused consumables. They will have the stuff in Western Ukraine and donated to local hospitals or care facilities there within a couple of weeks.

I had this same query the other week - Mediquip no longer cover Southwark and I believe the company when bankrupt? Anyway, after some digging, I found the news on the adult social care page of Southwark Council website.  The new supplier of medical equipment that is issued to Southwark residents via an OT from the council or the NHS is Provide Equipment Hub.  I emailed them about returning two items and they did promptly respond and came and picked up the items the following week.  Email them at [email protected]

Importantly, they will come and do urgent repairs of equipment like hospital beds.  I'm surprised that Southwark haven't made this change more widely known as it will impact many vulnerable residents.
