There are 2 rides organised for Feb14th, both starting 10am from Peckham Square,  Amanda’s ride to the Yurts Cafe (Limehouse) and a ride to Battersea Power Station with Bruce.
The yurts are such a surprise, tucked away near the Limehouse Link. They house a Social Enterprise Community Cafe operated by The Royal Foundation of St Katharine. RETURN: Thames Path down the Isle of Dogs to Greenwich, either crossing via the tunnel or if not working, DLR via Mudchute back to Peckham.  Plan to be back by 1pm. About 13 miles. Amanda leading.

Always give way to pedestrians and to other cyclists so all path users feel safe. If you cannot make a ride, please cancel so that someone else can take the place. • In deed.   An hour is optimistic. I'd always use the train/tube, so many options from the slowish Picadilly, quick Heathrow Express and Lizzy line in the middle. In the old days I'd go out to Feltham via Clapham Junction and either get a cab from there or the bus to avoid central London Alternatively 3 hours by bus only Or a couple of hours by bike, I have cycled there a few times including illegally going through the tunnel as it is so bike unfriendly.
