Tuesday 24th February, 2-4pm at Oru Dulwich

Your body has just done something incredible: it grew a baby and brought them into the world. Now it’s time to turn a little care back towards yourself.

After birth, your pelvic floor, and your whole body are adjusting, and it’s completely natural to feel unsure about what’s happening or how best to support your body as it heals.

Join Tiffy for a gentle, nurturing workshop offering simple, practical ways to reconnect with your pelvis and feel more supported and confident in your postpartum body, whether you’ve had a vaginal birth or a caesarean.

This is time set aside just for you, to slow down, listen in, and tend to your recovering body.

We’ll explore:

How your breath and pelvic floor work together to support healing

Gentle, appropriate ways to engage and relax the pelvic floor, with an emphasis on what balance looks like in your body

How to navigate common postpartum pelvic floor challenges

Simple strategies to support everyday movement and long-term pelvic health

There will be time for questions, reflection, and gentle journaling, so you leave feeling informed, resourced, and more confident in caring for your body in ways that feel right for you.

After the workshop, stay for a soft ending: time to chat, connect with other mamas, meet their babies, and enjoy a cup of tea and a sweet treat together.

Tiffy has been teaching yoga for over 26 years and specialises in pelvic floor and postnatal yoga. She is also a postnatal doula, offering grounded, compassionate support to new mamas as they recover, rest, and reconnect with their bodies.

Pre-crawling babies are very welcome. No prior yoga experience is needed.

What to bring:

• Loose, comfortable clothing you can move in

• Mats and props will be provided

• Anything your baby needs - feeding, cuddling, comforting are all welcome

This workshop is part of Oru’s ‘New Mama Nurture Series’, cosy monthly workshops for new mums offering yoga, expert guidance and community.

Any questions, please reach out. Hope you can join us.
