I am an RS teacher currently working at a school in the local area. I am currently in my fifth year and I teach across all secondary school year groups from Year 7 up to Year 13 (A level). I have had experience of teaching other Humanities subjects that include, History, Geography and A Level Sociology. Plus I have taught English GCSE for a year. In terms of teaching RS, I have experience of teaching the AQA syllabus at GCSE and both Edexcel and OCR at A Level.

My RS GCSE results last year are as follows - I taught 50 students across two classes and achieved 58% grades 9-7 and 88% achieved grades 9-4. Most notably, I helped a student jump from a grade 3 to a 7, and another from a grade 4 to an 8. My recent set of A Level results were 1xA*, 7xA, 6xB and 1xC grade. I pride myself in fantastic teaching and learning practice, with a strong focus on exam technique, and I work successfully with students across all abilities.

I am available for tutoring RS on Monday or Wednesday afternoons after school hours, ideally between 4.30-7.30pm. I am also currently available all week as it is half term. I can also be flexible to provide additional humanities tutoring, as well as Religious Studies if necessary. I am flexible to either online or in person tutoring as I both work and live around the local area.

I am PGCE trained and hold a DBS. If you are interested please send me a message on WhatsApp - 07838840396

    • hah ha! On the subject of dodgy keys and also police protocol with stolen cars, my first car was a 1969 mini which you could open and start by wiggling a small flat-headed screwdriver. No wonder it was stolen. About a week later the police called to say they'd spotted it on the Dog Kennel Hill estate opposite East Dulwich station. In those days parking was free so at least I didn't receive any tickets, but I surprised the police just left a message with the address and expected me to go and pick it up. I was slightly worried I'd have to tackle the culprits myself when I arrived.
    • Great pub, great deals and great service! Food is second to none Highly recommend 👌
    • This thread is brilliant! I am glad it has a happy ending. The reference to the Punto keys reminds of the days of when you could "jiggle a lock" with a similar car key and I speak from painful memory as a kid I managed to lock the keys in our car whilst on a camping holiday in Spain. My mum and dad didn't speak much Spanish and much hilarity ensued (post event) as they tried to communicate to the driver of a similar make and model of car as to why they had flagged him down and were trying to get him to lend him the key from his ignition!
    • I highly recommend my painter and decorator Sean. I have used him for over 25years. He is reliable and charges a reasonable price.  you can contact him on 07572 779608
