Handyman recommendation

Another recommendation for Terry. Very hard working, no job too small and work completed to a high standard.

Completely trustworthy - I left him in the house on more than one occasion to get on with a list of jobs I left him.

Will definitely use again.

Pm if you need anymore details.

Just to give my own opinion which is that Terry didn't complete the work we paid him for, and there are others on the forum who have had bad experiences too.

I wouldn't use an individual again, unless he had a proper business running, and I know where it was located, it was insured, he had proper qualifications and training.

I'd also like to recommend Terry.

He sorted out several odd jobs around my flat and completed them to a high standard quickly, cheerily and at a very reasonable price. He also gave me some tips on a couple of small jobs that I wanted to have a go at myself.

I'd happily use him again. His number is 07717572036.

My name is Steven Berman of ryedale Dulwich I am a freelance accountant.

I would like to voice my own opion of this accusation. I have known Terry for around Two years the first time I hired him he came and hung some pictures put some shelves up and build some flat pack furniture from john lewis department store.

Upon meeting Terry I found him to be very hard working very polite and eager to please.

Over the Two years I have known Terry I have hired him to complete many of tasks that I just do not have the time or skills to do myself from building garden a shed to painting my hallway and living room Terry has fitted bath taps and kitchen taps laid brand new engined flooring and for me along with a mass of other things. I have got to know this gentleman very well and respect him he is a very hard worker and can be totally trusted in my home alone the days I am at the office I hand him a key and he just gets on with what I've asked him to do never moans or grumbles and always stays in contact with me letting me know whats what.

I have not yet spoken with Terry but knowing him I am sure there is a good explanation for the messages left by krustyloaf

I am posting this defence for Terry as he is a friend and dose not have a ad on the forum. Please do not judge people on what someone else has written about them.

Where was the abject outrage when Dynamic Vines opened up literally next door to Cave de Bruno? But I don't see his customers decamped next door - no, those stalwarts are still out in force every night.  In Roman times all businesses were clustered by product. It's what kept prices down. Same in any market you go to abroad, they're all selling the same things next to each other.  Why is everyone being so hard on this new place? It's called healthy competition - you can't curtail the expansion of your business on the basis you that might hurt someone else's.

    • In restaurant terms I would say a chain manifests when the motivation is no longer “we are a couple/small group who have an idea and love food” who open a restaurant, them another and then a few more BUT THEN PIVOT to “we need capital to rollout out new restaurants so we have leveraged the help of the following investors”  that is the moment it stops being about the chef/food on the plate and becomes about the spreadsheet  so it is POSSIBLE  for a restaurant to have 50 branches and not be a chain - but I can’t think of any  I don’t know chango - by based on the number of outlets they appear to have just crossed/or are about to cross that line
