Broken lap top screen... Can you recommend anyone to fix it?

Hi- I've been a klutz, amd stood on my lap top. the laptop still works, but there was just a massive crack in the screen which made seeing anything a bit tricky. My husband declared this was no problem, bought a new screen, dismantled the laptop, and now declares it's a bit tricky...

Has anyone had their laptop fixed and can recommend the fixer? Would be so grateful!
