General discussion re letting agents in East Dulwich

If any renters would be prepared to share their experiences of dealing with the many letting agents in and around East Dulwich, I would be most interested. PM me if you wish to remain anonymous. Trying to help out an older family member so we don't wish to refer her to someone who is difficult to deal with. Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks. Nick

Do NOT use Ludlow Thompson. Total nightmare! They have a central office who deal with maintenance and our experience was of the rudest, most unhelpful, most incompetent people imaginable - and of no basic amenities for weeks due to their lack of action.

I've used Roy Brooks in Barry Rd (opposite The Clockhouse). They are all very nice in there and very helpful. They were always prompt to fix any problems we had in the flat during our tenancy.

Ludlow Thompson are awful, the girlfriend had a nightmare with them. Watch out for them trying to claw every bit of money out of you they can.

I also recommend Roy Brooks. I have been renting with them for over two years in East Dulwich and so far have found them swift to respond to emails and fix problems, and very easy to deal with.
