We have this one -- http://www.amazon.co.uk/Onaroo-Nightlight-Sleep-Trainer-Clock/dp/B002RNKOM2. Sadly we weren't able to convince our daughter to at least play in her room until the "ok to wake!" light came on, but I've heard that that feature has worked for others. She does love the clock, though.

Highly recommend BabyZoo MoMo Monkey Sleeptrainer Clock.

My 3 year old loves hers and has been using it since she was a baby. Waits for the monkey to open its eyes and for jungle music to start playing in the morning before shouting for us. She kisses it goodnight every night and it responds by closing its eyes (well, we press a button for that to happen).

Have bought a second one for my 16 month old and hoping she learns to do the same:-o

    • Thanks so much I’ll try that too… might still try getting hold of an air purifier as well if at all possible - want to try cover all bases!
    • The 185 is often the same. But that's why buses sometimes (and annoyingly) stop to "regulate the service". To be fair, it's often due to traffic conditions. If there is not much traffic, the one behind catches up with the one in front.
    • I imagine this is because of the average  additional time involved, due to the styles. You could have asked the reason? I will ask, next time I'm in there.  Many salons have this differential pricing.
    • Maybe a humidifier, or bowl of water near her bed might help. Sometimes dry air can cause a sore throat
