I had the fire brigade do mine for me once, fortunately the bicycle was only locked to itself so I carried in to the nearest fire station along with the original documents as proof of ownership and they cut the D-lock off with an industrial cutter.

It's the small barrel/tube-type key not Yale shape (I've tried the biro method, could find a biro that would fit!)

The problem would be plugging it in - bike is right inside station. I think Callow have a battery operated one - if nobody takes up my offer I'm going to ask Callow if they will still charge if they turn up and station manager stops them.

Had two keys, the second one was left on a bunch when I rented a holiday flat in Edinburgh in 2007 - am trying to find phone number of landlady on off-chance she still has key. Lock should be easy to crack - Herne hill Cycles say it's a type that has been discontinued because it can be opened easily, probably by biro method (google it).

The whole thing is both frustrating and spooky - the bike key was on my key ring and somehow fell off. All the other keys are fine though. Call Derren Brown!

Yay, great news. I presume KKs bolt croppers did the trick, not bike lock? Anyhoo, great news and this plus a few don revvies signals the official start of the Xmas build up...CHARGE.

Got a message back within a day to say medication ordered from chemist.

    • Oh give it a break.  We have an MP who makes racist comments, yet our media (and what seems like this Forum) that generally hate Labour (and loved Johnson) are just out looking for the dirt. It's a move on, nothing to see here.  Particularly if she used a letting agency.
