Suspicious blokes underhill road

I was off work today and had the pleasure of a suspicious couple of blokes ringing my doorbell.When I answered all they asked was - Is this 2 flats? I replied why are you asking, they said they were looking for a friend who lived in a flat in the area and noticed two doorbells on the door. After askin them to leave, I watched them for a bit and they seemed to walk up and down underhill road looking at houses. Dialed 101, and they had no luck finding them. They definitely seemed dodgy, did anyone else notice them? White male in a grey hoodie, black male in a black coat, both Average build

Just wanted to point out that there were two strange men knocking on doors and ringing bells today, when I opened my door to them they seemed quite shocked and started asking for random people, none of who live here or nearby as far as I know. They were wearing hi-vis vests, no logos or identification badges, and then when they left (no apology), they walked off down underhill road not trying any other doors I noticed!

Having been burgled last year I just wanted to point it out so people are vigilant. This is Underhill, over the brow of the hill past the mini roundabout.

We had glue put in our front door lock a couple of weeks ago and we are on Undehill end of Friern Rd look at post "glue in lock"

We called 101 recently about a rather suspicious 'charity collector' and they said it was always helpful to have information.

Was that a couple of young people coming round to drum up interest in Battersea Dogs Home?

No. A solo young man collecting for a bogus sounding charity with no ID who was calling at random houses after dark.

I had theBDH lads and then Jehovah's Witnesses several times in the last fortnight too.

Fed up.

Bad way to raise money or worshippers IMHO.
