bhtrainingserv
Hi all,I'm looking to run a weekday evening workshop locally and I need enough space for around 15 people to move around comfortably, plus chairs for them to sit on. They are the only physical requirements, though it needs to be reasonably quiet.I'd like to support a community venue if possible, and one with some flexibility in case it doesn't take off. What are people's opinions on the community centre? All recommendations welcomed!ThanksGuy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39937-recommendations-for-workshop-venue/ Share on other sites
bhtrainingserv
Anyone? There must be something suitable in East Dulwich... Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39937-recommendations-for-workshop-venue/#findComment-709098 Share on other sites
Pugwash
Not sure if Weds are free at the East Dulwich Community Centre. Phone Barbara on 8693 4411. They have an agreement where you can book for a short period for a trial. Depending on type of group - there is a sliding scale of hire charges. They have a Development Worker Kate who gives advice and guidance re new groups starting up and possible funding sources Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39937-recommendations-for-workshop-venue/#findComment-709203 Share on other sites

Browncoffee
Hi Guy, I would recommend Goose Green Clinic. They have a lovely room across the road from Goose Green Park which holds up to 20 people (I think). http://www.goosegreenclinic.net/contact/ Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/39937-recommendations-for-workshop-venue/#findComment-709950 Share on other sites
bhtrainingserv
That's great too, thank you Browncoffee! What I'm planning may well fit in with their aims too. Thank you so much!
