I often get messages asking for images. Please look in the history of this thread, there are loads in there. But all my up to date ones you will find on my Facebook page. Even if you are not a FB user, you can still google me and click on the link and still view my most recent images. As Im sure you can appreciate, it is hard to put this all on the forum.

'Tis the season to be jolly! If you fancy something sweet, scrumptious and downright indulgent, why not try a Friddle's Red Velvet Christmas Cake. The design will be a celebration of all things Christmas, white with snow, glitter and a festive snowman. But like all Friddle's cakes it will be amazing! Bookings are limited, so please order soon to avoid disappointment! A delicious Christmas to you all... Friddle's Cakes.

I just wanted to add my recommendation for Emete and Friddle's cakes - Emete is so accommodating that when I asked her whether she would make an Elsa doll cake, she jumped at the chance and I also asked about various designs for my son's cake and she came up with some brilliant suggestions.

Needless to say, the Elsa cake was just amazing and tasted delicious - luckily my daughter has a very sweet tooth as it was just too beautiful to cut otherwise and received endless compliments!

I absolutely recommend Emete and Friddle's cakes for any occasion!

Many have asked for my price range. As each cake is bespoke it is very hard to quote on a cake until I know the amount of people you would like to cater for, flavour, design and date of the party. It is always best to get in touch with your request and we can take it from there. If you like a cake that has already been made, then yes no problem in giving you a price. In the meantime it is best to contact me via my Facebook page facebook.com/friddlescakes or email me on [email protected]. The only time I give out my number is once a booking is made.

    • I'd have thought they could use some of  their income from hiring out a large part of Brockwell Park in the summer (therefore, as I understand it, preventing local residents from using much of it) to put on a firework display there  in the autumn which might somewhat make up to those residents for the previous loss of use of the park. And also generate goodwill.
    • Clicking on your name, I see you've made seven posts on here since you joined  around four years ago, and they've all been about local libraries. And none of the posts are  very pleasant. Care to share with the rest of us where  your particular interest in libraries comes from? Do you work in one of them?
    • Kam was with us last week to wallpaper a bedroom. He was a pleasure to deal with and did a fantastic job - very neat and matched the tricky pattern very well. Would certainly use again.
    • What a bunch of pieholes. 2025 and you peasants have nothing to be grateful for. I have been inside the library recently and honestly the old girl is crying for a facelift, the goddamn carpet looks like it survived the world war and some. The Library is one of the oldest in Southwark and you are crying about a study place? What a bunch of bullshit. You have libraries all around you for your kids to go their studying you rotten sausage. How about be happy that the library is going to look absolutely stunning rather than be a whining bitch about it   Also, I have been told that the staffs have to work in the smaller libraries together. How do you think they feel?
