Brownies - recommondations please

Hi,

My seven year old don would love to join the brownies.

Could anybody recommend a group near us (se24).

Same for my daughter, 11 years, forgot how it's named for her age group.

Girl Guides for older girls isn't it?

Brownies is for girls only aged 7-10. Girl guides is for 10-14 year olds. Your son should look for cubs groups or perhaps woodcraft folk if he wants to join a mixed group?

Brown Owl for the ED Brownie pack lives on our road - apparently there's a waiting list until 2017!! :(

But if you go on the Brownies website it shows you others in the vicinity that have better lists - Forest Hill I think had a couple of good ones.

If the OP's still interested, there's a cubs and scouts group that also meets at St Faiths on Fridays I think.
