newboots
I know its a small job, but its a really difficult one! Admit I am fussy, but am prepared to throw money at the problem for a really neat job. We just need sealant replaced around our bath and wash basin. grace3
Just use a sharp chisel to remove the old gunck, a bit of masking tape below and above the seal, a jar of warm water with a small dash of washing up liquid in it ,squeeze the 'Dow Corning ' silicon between the masking tape, dip your finger in the soap, push the silicon well in, remove the masking tape immediatly (into a bag- bucket) and hey saved ?80 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/40238-looking-for-someone-who-can-do-a-brilliant-job-on-bathroom-sealant/#findComment-711867 Share on other sites
handymaneast dulwich
I would not use a sharp chisel around the bath. handymaneast dulwich
Ok I'm just giving my professional advice as a sharp chisel is not intended for that job. It can scratch the bath or tiles. Stanley is more flexible and not so heavy handed.
