Personal Trainer Recommendation

Hello All,

I just felt moved to post a ringing endorsement for my trainer (search for his posts on here Joe Leppard.

We began 2 x 1 hour sessions per week in Mid November and from being over fifteen stone and stuck in an eat-fat-sad-eat rut I'm now a stone lighter and have started running, completing 5km for the first time this week.

(Running! Who knew!?)

Whilst I don't think I'll ever be evangelical about exercise I genuinely feel that Joe's personal attention to detail and quietly gritty encouragement have turned things around for me. I definitely would be no where as near to my goals as I am already without him.

He is very reasonably priced at ?20/25 an hour depending on when your sessions are and cycles to meet me at home or at work. We work inside and outside and I always have a huge sweaty smile on my face afterwards.

He has a few advert posts on here, and if you're looking, I wouldn't hesitate to give him a try. [email protected]

    • You can get a card at the till, though, to get the discount. You don't have to carry it with you (or load it onto your phone), you can just get a different card each time. Not sure what happens if they notice 🤣
    • Yes..that may be the case but membership STARTING at £115 a month is still unafforable for many. Council gyms also have a large range of equipment and I had a  PT at Dulwich leisure centre when I was in Full Time employment who was incredible and even kept in contact during lockdown giving me a program I could do at home and checking in weekly at no charge or personal gain for herself. I dont doubt that Fit For may be a good gym (Its been in situ long enough so must be doing something right) However the cost of membership means it is affordable for the few not the many. If I could afford that kind of fee I would rather get a train to Canary Wharf and go to Virgin active where theres a pool and incredible classes and facilities
    • This sounds great 👍
    • We found a red TREK bike yesterday that had clearly been stolen and dumped. Would love to reunite it with its owner. Get in touch if you know whose it is.
