I am very close to this situation (readers will never know who I am or how close - a few would know my name but it isnt appropriate to for me to come 'out') - trust me, I am close enough to know what has happeneded in the last fortnight, I am p*ssed off with it (as a fan, and as someone who has worked hard for the club durinig the ast 18 months or so) and it must be said, a little drunk. I think reading that above it's maybe a couple of weeks old as Wardle's gone as we know and there's no reference to Kompany siging of today (I believe). My understanding on Corluka (who'd be a great signing for Spurs by the way) is that Spurs did their end of the paperwork and City didn't do theirs so Spurs may well be kicking off on misrepresentation. Add that to FIFA looking at us missing a payment for Elano, players being told to go shopping rather than play against Milan without the manager being told and our chairman being a potential subject of an extradition warrant and hey, I'd rather be back going to league games in division three against Wycombe, Southend, Gillingham etc.
