Advice/help with laying lino over ceramic tiles

Recently moved into a rented flat and cannot get on with the kitchen and bathroom floor tiles!

Can you recommend someone to give advice or even better lay some lino for me? Both kitchen and bathroom are very small.

Heya,

You can't normally lay Lino over tiles. It is advised you get

the tiles taken up first then lay hardboard as no-one I know (who is any good)

Has ever laid on top on tiles.

I'm just an electrician but I know as a couple of customers have asked.

We even got some lino ordered from carpet right in penge and all fitters said no unless tiles

Taken up. I enquirer whether this was correct with my builder friends and they agreed.

brutusboss -- thanks for your advice. I was just thinking on a whim in the hope it would be easy but I understand now its not!

Jeremy -- I was hoping it would be easy to lay then I could remove it before I left but hey ho.
