pilsbury
Hi guysMy little son was v unsettled for the first 10 weeks of his life and on the recommendation of a health specialist I moved his one formula feed a day to goats milk formula (nanny care). Around the same time he was also snipped for tongue tie and has since changed to a lovely happy little boy (ie I'm not sure if it was the tongue tie or the goats milk formula which made the difference). Fast forward to now and he's nearly seven months old and getting on really well with weaning and is now on three meals per day and eaten a variety of foods (fruit, veg, fish, meat), some of which have included milk and cheese. He still has two formula feeds a day (1 after lunchtime nap and 1 before bedtime) which I've kept as goats milk formula and I breastfeed him first thing in the morning. In an ideal world I'd like to move his formula back to regular formula, mainly for convenience (as nanny care don't make pre-made cartons which can be so handy for holidays, days out etc). Has anyone else gone through a similar experience and/or can advise me if this would be okay? Obviously if I switched him back to aptamil and he suddenly had an upset tummy or was really grouchy again then I'd go straight back to nanny care.... I'm just wondering if he's now grown out of his dairy intolerance esp as he's having cheese and milk in some of his meals now..Sorry, long post, let me know what you think!
