Hello all,

Hope you're all well.

We're new to the area and I hope the forum might be able to help me with something.

On 4 Feb my car (powder blue in colour) was hit by a large lorry on Boveney Road near Honor Oak Park station. I wasn't in the car at the time - it was parked there whilst I caught the train to work. The lorry did a fair bit of damage to the front passenger side of my car - there would have been an almighty bang! The lorry driver did not stop but some wonderful good samaritan left me a note of the vehicle registration and the time of the accident under my wiper.Unfortunately they did not leave their name or contact number.

I would really like to get in touch with the witness- firstly say a huge thank you for taking the time to stop and secondly in the hope they can assist with my claim against the lorry driver. I have reported the incident to the police (failure to stop after an accident is a crime), and to my insurer and the driver's insurer and provided the information the good samaritan left me. Unfortunately, without a name and contact details of the witness I can't make a claim on my insurance and his insurers are likely to deny it.

Does anyone know who this kind person was? I just need a name and number. The insurer would like to speak with the person briefly and it is unlikely it will take much time.

I've limited the information here to protect my privacy - hope you all understand.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you : )

My husband is very relieved and grateful. If any one knows who these people are please say thank you as he didn't get their names.
