PeckhamRose
The Care Data Schemehttp://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/thenhs/records/healthrecords/Pages/care-data.aspxGuardian item http://www.theguardian.com/society/2014/feb/18/nhs-delays-sharing-medical-records-care-dataIt says that there will not be any information to identify you but if you give your NHS number and Post Code and gender, really, there is every chance you could be identified.Read the information, and inform yourselves. My surgery's secretary said that we have all received forms and information about this, but I certainly haven't, and other said the sheets of paper they got through their doors were enclosed with pizza leaflets, so were automatically chucked out by a lot of people probably. But you can opt out.Information here.http://www.indymedia.org.uk/en/2014/02/515469.html?c=onand you can get opt out forms from your surgery or any other surgery probably to sign and hand in to your own.
