....but it just wont upload. I've done this loads of times before and usually its super-easy. My pic is small (128 KB ) but I've also tried to upload it without just in case there's a prob with that. It lets me get to the preview but then goes no further. Tried over 2 days on 2 different computers, no joy. Other users seem to be uploading just fine so it must be something I'm doing...Any ideas?

PS I wonder if this will upload......

edited to say...Hmm this uploaded just fine....confusing.

So did you actually successfully attach the photo to the above post, and then delete it?

I don't understand. Was it the whole post that failed to upload? In that case, I've usually found the silent rejection was due to the post's containing, maybe not obviously, some 'forbidden' word or part-word.

Nice to see a vote of thanks like this gwod. I hardly post, but your response was lovely to see.

    • For clarity,  since the heat seems to be getting to people - my friends in Hampshire, Essex, Cornwall tell me that the same insanity is happening there - probably in other counties to! I have in the past seen adults walking last year with  young children with no hat or to the best of my knowledge suns-cream on and idiots in Dulwich Park allowing their children or who knows maybe it is the au pair or nanny taking the kids to the park when it is over 30 degrees.. I rest my case - doesn’t matter if you have 4 feet or 2 - 4 feet suffer more as generally have a coat and no protection on their feet / 2 feet at least have foot protection. Like I said, I am just joining  the conversation - everyone has a right to their own opinion.
    • I don't think it's just dog-owners who are half-wits. An actual human has taken a dump in a newspaper and left it lying on CP Road. Flies are having a field day. I ought to tell the council but pity the poor person sent to clean it up.
    • In the proud spirit of stating the bleeding obvious (!) here is some more RSPCA advice re dogs in hot cars and a downloadable leaflet which contains emergency first aid for heatstroke: https://www.rspca.org.uk/adviceandwelfare/pets/dogs/health/dogsinhotcars https://www.rspca.org.uk/documents/1494939/7712578/Dogs In Hot Cars Leaflet.pdf/ade4c043-90ee-7091-c97f-02f047f7b4b3
    • What exactly is the point of having a go at someone who is trying to help and spread useful information? Is the heat getting to people? What does it matter what someone calls dogs?
