We would like to again thank and recommend plumber Alex for anyone who is looking for a local and reliable plumber. He came to our rescue again after my mum noticed water dripping from our kitchen ceiling 7 in the morning he was with us within 20min and fixed the leak which was under the bath and even offered to do something with the stain in our kitchen ceiling caused by the leak in a later date. - Beware - sheet ice Avondale Rise .

  Please be aware that there is a huge sheet of ice approx 12ft x 6ft on the road at the top end of Avondale Rise on the left hand side approaching Ivanhoe Road. The council was told earlier this morning, but advised that, due to a reduced service, it is unlikely that grit /salt will be spread before Monday! Several (thankfully minor) accidents have happened since this morning. A resident has thoughtfully erected a temporary sign to advise traffic of the hazard, but bearing in mind that temperatures are due to fall to -4 over the weekend and this is on a bus route, please be very careful if driving on this road.

  Paul was great for us - came round at an ungodly hour of the day at short notice to fix a problem. Very nice bloke too
