Could anyone recommend a structural engineer in the area? We are buying in Penge and need to get a quote ASAP to send to our lender.

Visit findanengineer.com - you can search via postcode and specialism - it list companies who have Chartered Structural Engineers in their employ. You should always try to appoint someone who is professionally qualified and a member of a professional body (structural engineering is not a licensed to practice profession so technically anyone can call themselves a structural engineer, only those professionally qualified can refer to themselves as Chartered)
