I was wondering if anyone could recommend someone with a good reputation for installing engineereed wooden flooring? We know where we're buying the wood from, we just need a good and reliable tradesman to install this for us.

David of DLFloors did a good job in laying my floor yesterday. He was very quick to respond to my call, was good value and came and did the fitting quickly.

I disagree with the above recommendation .David did an appalling job with my floors and I have had to call someone in to correct it .

Big gaps , floors not laid the right way, nailed in and glued but not glued enough and the nails are pretty obvious in places that can't be covered, joinings from room to room not done correctly . Happy to provide photos but thankfully I have someone else in the process of correcting these mistakes .

David might be ok with other types of flooring but definitely not my solid wood flooring .
