Yes I thought renting one was the best chance of getting a car park space for the weekend! lol.

Yes, I've tried a couple of times to speak to the owner, but never at home.

People seem a bit obsessed about parking right in front of their house. Seems to me to be primitive territorial instinct. Yes, there are a small number for who it is important due to mobility issues of one sort or other, bit for most people you may just accept a minute or twos walk to your car. Is it that big a deal?
Sorry Jeremy, wasn't my intention, didn't phrase it well - it just seems sometimes, it's more about 'they've take MY space' rather than any real inconvenience (a couple of spaces along aint no biggie). I accept that if you have to park a couple of streets away it can be a pain. Personally, I never have to park more than a couple of 100 meters from my front door, but I may just be lucky.

    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
    • I’ve been seeing Lisa at goose green clinic for energy work for a year now.  Lisa is kind, caring and hugely supportive. She is wonderfully masterful and trained as a reiki master for 20 plus years. Alongside other energy work.  My time spent with her is like therapy. An emotional safe space for deep conversations and reflection followed by relaxing and energising healing work.  each experience I’ve had has been different, the end result remains the same. Feel lighter, almost euphoric and almost float home. Definitely an experience not to be missed.  https://www.goosegreenclinic.net/therapies/healing-energy-work/
