Driving instructor recommends?

Recommended Posts

I'm currently in the process of learning to drive and considering switching instructor, or at least trying out another instructor.

Confidence is my main issue so I'm looking for someone relaxed, calm and able to instil that in an adult learner.

All suggestions welcome (sorry, I know there's archive threads but I'd like specific recommendations to help get over the confidence issue)

Alternatively if anyone has used a local intensive driving school and would recommend it, I'd love to know. Basically I need to get that piece of paper as soon as I can.

I have just had to take a driving assessment required by my insurance. been driving for decades but my confidence had been knocked. Nick, of Nicholas Driving Academy 07956 221706 was supportive and very experienced and efficient. I would recommend him highly. Do contact him.

    • Well thanks for enriching the conversation.  Would you chuck Fah - rage in too for his tax avoidance on his property?   I expect it was lead story on Jeremy Vine too.  Doesn't make it a story, just a bit more of BBC tabloid style sensationalism.  There are numerous real news stories in the UK and across the world.  And now, apt for Halloween, you have summoned up the ghost of Louisa. So for the third time, will you now eat humble pie?
