Recommended - Bathroom refit, plumbing and tiling

Recommended Posts

I would really like to recommend Sam who recently gutted and refitted our small bathroom in Peckham.

Along with his colleague, he completely refitted a new suite - including the plumbing, tiling, painting, electric points and spot lighting.

The bathroom was small and awkward - and plumbing was very old so, it wasn't an easy job but, he did it quickly and efficiently - leaving no trace or mess at the end of each day. He offered impartial advice and solved issues and complications with minimal fuss.

Together they were good communicators, efficient and trustworthy - and went above and beyond to have the job done within schedule. We are so pleased with our new bathroom - I would really recommend!

His number is 07931735875, and his Facebook page is called AAM Tiling.

I want to second all the above re Raju, he's great and reasonable!!

He isn't working dodgily under two names, Sam is his real name. I worked with his wife for years and his "home" name is Raju - he offered to quote for the works i wanted doing and well I was delighted with absolutely everything - but the name his family call him has always stuck with me :) Hence my recommendations as Raju.

    • Last week (27 Nov) I was told the only way to book was via ACCURX (sp) website.     I then proceeded to book via patient access (only 2 appts left). Left and right are telling different things Edit to add - can someone describe what happens once you have put a request via ACCURX.   does it wait until a Dr has reviewed your request and how (if at all) do you choose the date.

    • It’s literal.  There are levels of earners. Those who don’t work and get benefits, those who work and get benefits, those who work but don’t get benefits. now, it’s an assumption that the last group are all wealthy, but that’s not the case. People in this last group are most exposed.. private rent, higher tax brackets, cost of living increases, yet they pay the most tax, and get no help.    So many questions: why are workers needing to be subsidised? Should companies pay more? Should there be private rent caps?  Why are people better off not working at all, or only working low hours to ensure they get benefits top ups?  How do you think people respond to this?     Do you realise that a number of companies are focussing on buying property? The banks, the supermarkets! Yet the government is squeezing individuals out of this equation. What do you think this will look like in the future? When foreign companies own the majority of UK property?
    • All depends on what you call reasonably priced!  Was it for Christmas Day?   Noticed that The Plough were advertising Christmas Lunches but did not see any prices listed.
