Family friendly hotels in Cambridge?

Any recommendations for a hotel that will accommodate (and be welcoming to a 3 year old and a 7 month old) appreciated.

I stayed in the Doubletree. It's very central and there's a car park - v useful for Cambridge. I hadn't asked for an extra bed but when they saw my son was with me they offered to put one in the room straight away (and no extra charge). I think you could also fit in a cot. There is a nice pool with a shallow area also good for kids.

The Cambridge Belfry Hotel is a hotel outside of cambridge but there is a bus which runs into the centre of town. The staff here are so helpful and very friendly. There is lots of space and we were given a large room on the ground floor with plenty of space for a cot, pram and everything else!

They have a pool, no baby pool but really the best thing is the staff.

I can also vouch for the doubletree. Spacious, helpful and a great location. A bit soulless but the rest of Cambridge is so lovely it doesn't really matter.
