joom
Huh?I enjoy many individual posts within threads, I'd like to like them. FB style need not be the mode. Agree? ruffers
Genuine question - what would this button do? If I like a post I like it, no need for a button.Or am I missing something? Otta
I suppose it would negate the need for"what he said"or^^^thisBut I doubt the software has the option. joom
I feel it's like an acknowledgement at the time of reading, making a connection without writing back. El Pibe
i suspect it does have the option, or at the very least a plugin to achieve it.It probably also has the option to show number of posts etc, avatars, even rankings based upon posting history.I think it's much the better for not having these things. The ubiquity of the 'like', and it's throwaway nature has definitely diluted any meaning it might have had.A post saying 'exactly sir', the slightly annoying '^^^ This' or the timeless 'Wot Keef Said', is surely worth more, a bit of effort, the willingness to go on record.Otherwise it becomes just another social networking obsession, or popularity contest.Keep ir clean i say.Oh, and wot otta said... monica
Yes I agree with most of the above, leave Facebook out of the forum, it does not need it Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/42853-can-we-have-a-like-or-an-agree-button/#findComment-739796 Share on other sites
