recommendation required for fixing broken gutter and for glazier

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Can anyone help recommend a reliable person / firm to replace a gutter which came down in strong winds earlier this year? It is at "seond" floor level. Also, i need a glazier to replace a cracked double glazed window (the gutter hit it at an angle as it crashed).

Thanks a lot!

Hi everyone,

I'm in similar position as Shaila - parasol toppled and broke one of our bay windows yesterday - looking for a glazier/handyperson to replace window and also a cracked window in our porch, - rather than a specialist window company. If anyone has a recommendation, would be very grateful!

    • As a cafe, yes. And they kept all the chandeliers they hadn't sold as an antique shop still hanging up. They had a real mouse problem, quite well covered up, however.
    • Ah yes, that's right. Didn't Chandelier sell a huge range of different kinds of tea?  That militaria shop was bonkers.
    • Spinach took over from Chandelier, which was then a cafe but had been an antique shop of the same name. Some shops up from Target Arms the militaria shop.
    • My friend and I once did a cocktail crawl down Lordship Lane.  I think we started at Black Cherry (now Franco Manca). It got off to a good start when I knocked mine over and had to buy another one. Liquorish was in there somewhere. The crawl ended with me carrying a chair and her a set of glasses, both bought from an antique shop at some point on the crawl, can't remember where and long gone. Was it where Spinach is now? Somewhere round there. The antique shop, not Spinach!
