Goose music stage at Dulwich Festival Fair - TODAY! Sunday 11 May!

For the last few years, The Goose Is Out! has (have?) run a stage at Dulwich Festival Fair, on Goose Green - just opposite the EDT, where The Goose started out oh what seems like so many years ago but was actually only 2008!

In 2014, as in previous years, there will be a mix of solo/duo performers, bands and our local folk choir. The performers are mainly drawn from local talent, and will not be solely folk musicians.

The fair itself is always fun, with craft and food stalls and activities for the children (if they can drag themselves away from bopping in front of our stage, of course!)

The fair itself starts at 11am, and the live music starts at 12 noon.

Each set starts on the hour, with a fifteen minute change between sets.

This year the line-up will be:

12 noon - Stuart Forester and Carol Anderson

1pm - The Dulwich Folk Choir

2pm - Duo Mistral

3pm - John McClean and The Clan

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property
    • I didn't say wedge it "slightly" open. I meant to wedge it fully open.
    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
