Hi all, I wanted to ask if anyone had experienced the noisy new tenants at 5 Derwent Grove. They moved in about a month ago and it's been loud parties on Fridays and Saturdays since. I know it's the weekend but I'm surprised they've come to what's usually a quiet, residential area with lots of families about. They have loud music until 4am and spill out into the garden to shout and scream. I went round and asked them to turn it down and despite being polite both times, have done so the following day/weekend.

A related question: does anyone know of how to complain officially in these instances? I'd normally put it down to weekend antics but as I work weekends and just want to relax come the evenings, it's proving a huge disturbance

    • It was indeed in the vicinity of DKH. I live on the ED estate and I could tell it must be close by because of the noise. When I left my house this morning I found the culprits litter still in the middle of the st. It looked like they had lit a whole box on fire in the middle of the road. My cat jumped out of her skin. I’ll try and report it on Southwark website same as I have had to with other illegal use this week. Any other ideas for what we can do with the photos? Maybe one of the Southwark councillors. It’s outrageous and dangerous behaviour.
    • Had another great meal there…. those that haven’t tried it, give it a go.. have a special lunch menu as well so you can get a flavour of the food.
    • If you "cotton on" and read the council announcement, it clearly states "The library will be closed from 17 November until late June or early July 2026."  https://www.southwark.gov.uk/2025/dulwich-library-closing-refurbishment
