I was going to tekll everyone about this yesterday before I went to see it but I'm glad I waited. Last night I saw Dan Zane and friends at the Southbank Centre and it was amazing. As we don't have kids we invited afew of our friends that had kids but would not have been able to afford it.

Not only was it an absolutely brilliant performance I witnessed the transformation of a 11 year old, too cool for school child go from not dancing and being a bit tut tut to having the time of his life. And what you may ask did that, well a blend of folky, blues music administered by Dan Zane and band, alongsde a full brass band and a big black rap star called father goose.

You will never have seen anything like this and it is worth taking your kids to as its just so much fun and by the third song all of the adults were having a party too.

If you know any people that you can take who can't afford it but you can, I highly recommend spreading the love.

It made me realise that kids in London just need to have more real fun and to loosen up.
