how to... (stop emails that tell you when a thread is updated)

if youve asked for emails to tell you when a thread is updated/answered, how do you stop that? ofr example i chose a couple of threads..jokes/music room and i get squillions of emails.

I had a look myself and maybe have missed it, but where is cancel?)

Ah-ha. Just worked this out yesterday...

Go to My Control Center. Then on the left hand side, go to Show Followed Threads. Then you can either delete the followed threads or update it not to email you and Save Changes.

No problem.

Just spotted that the emails you get sent have a link in them to stop following the thread. Click on that and all the above gets done for you automatically.

Would be good if there was a system such that you only get one email about one thread, and no more until you've actually visited the thread.

Otherwise, you can go out for the day and come back to find your inbox full of emails all relating to posts on the same thread ......

But I guess it's too complicated .....
