Bank holiday screen printing and intergalactic themed crafts for the whole family!

Recommended Posts

Nimble Arts holiday club is back for the next May bank holiday Monday! We're joined by Lou from East Dulwich's own Captured in the Rye for screen printing space themed t-shirts in the morning, and in the afternoon we'll be doing quick fire intergalactic crafts (making a rocket that flies, a recycled robot and some inplanetary mobiles!)

As it's a bank holiday, for this day only we're inviting the whole family to come and join in either for the full or half day - adults (16+) go free and older and younger siblings are welcome to accompany family groups (but can still take part!), so it's a chance to come and get crafty together :D

You can join us either for the full or half day, and there's free early drop off/extended pick up available. Timings are:

8.30 - 10.00: Drop off (we'll have books, games, chill out and craft activities ongoing...and if there's enough of us we can even try some parachute games!)

MORNING (10-12.30): Welcome sessions and then t-shirt screen printing with the brilliant Lou from Captured on the Rye

AFTERNOON (13.30 ? 16.00, pick up until 17.00): Quick fire crafts ? Make a rocket that flies, an intergalactic mobile AND a recycled robot!

16.00 - 17.00: Free extended pick up

Children aged 5-11 can be dropped off for the full or half day, and parents/carers/adult family members can come and join in for free!

Full day: ?45 (siblings ?37)

Half day: ?22 (siblings ?18)

Discounts if you attend multiple days. Go to www.nimblearts.co.uk or email [email protected] to book your place - if booking for the half day, please email (and likewise just let us know if family members will be attending and we'll make sure we've got enough materials!)

Find out more about Nimble Arts at www.nimblearts.co.uk - if you're looking for half term activities for 5-11 year olds we have a few spaces remaining for our other holiday club days over the rest of the week and discount in price if you come for multiple days. • "You have no idea why"   To be fair Sue, it's blindingly obvious to anyone who has a conversation with anyone who isn't a Corbyn supporter. And even some who liked Corbyn (like me initially) found him somewhat flaky even at his most popular But let's say you are right and I have NO idea why anybody might not vote for him. They still didn't vote for him. He lost two elections. The second one badly (and strongly predicted but the stubborn old goat wouldn't budge so we we were stuck with Johnson and another 3 million PMs in the 5 years that followed) So even with ZERO evidence, we have our eyes and ears and brains But we do have evidence   https://yougov.co.uk/politics/articles/27022-their-own-words-why-voters-abandoned-labour
    • As I said, it was my understanding. I worded it very carefully. I didn't/don't know for sure, so clearly not a fact. And hardly an "opinion", which is something completely different. You have no idea what reason anybody might have had for not voting for him (unless you can point to some opinion poll results which actually asked people?)
    • Also, just to add, the threat to kill someone's dog and try to kick it, is an additional extremely unpleasant layer. I have noticed a lot of the burst water balloons lying around in the park too- that is not great for the environment either.
