Do be careful not to get too carried away with your trimming and be mindful for possible nests WITH babies within the "bush"

Neighbours recently practically destroyed their annoying monstrosity of a shrub and completely ignored the blackbirds dive bombing them as they disturbed/destroyed an established nest. Was quite sad watching the parents of the destroyed nest continuing to fly around after the incident occurred in search of any survivors.

That's a good point, KK. Is the answer to cut right back back earlier in the year so any further trimming isn't likely to be as radical and therefore disturbing?

  I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
