Davis Cup players at North Dulwich Tennis Club - Sunday 8th June

The North Dulwich Lawn Tennis Club is holding a fundraising day on 8 June 2014 at which two UK Davis Cup players from the Bright Ideas for Tennis organisation will provide coaching and play an exhibition match.

Bright Ideas for Tennis operates to support tennis clubs across the UK to increase membership numbers, raise levels of participation and improve playing facilities.

The aim of the North Dulwich LTC Bright Ideas for Tennis day is to raise funds to upgrade the club's facilities (particularly to convert two shale courts to an all-weather playing surface).

This is the schedule for the day;

9:30 - 10:15am Junior coaching (4-9 yrs)

10:15 -11:00am Junior coaching (11-15 yrs)

11:00 -12:00 Adults (intermediate/advanced)

12:00 - 12:30 Fastest Serve Competition

12:30 - 13:30 Adults (all standards)

13:30 - 14:30 Exhibition match with Davis Cup players and guests

If North Dulwich LTC raises more than any other club in the UK that hosts a Bright Ideas for Tennis day, Tim Henman will come to play an exhibition match at North Dulwich LTC in October.
