Special Storytime with Carrie Weston Saturday 7th June 11am

Recommended Posts

Dulwich Books are delighted to welcome special guest Carrie Weston who will be reading from her new picture books: ?What Noise Does a Rabbit Make?? and ?Boris Gets Spots? on Saturday 7th June at 11am.

Boris Gets Spots:

On the day that Miss Cluck's class has a visit from Mr Gander the farmer, disaster strikes! First Boris, then all the little animals, are soon covered in bright red, itchy spots. After sending them home to get better Miss Cluck feels rather bereft in the empty classroom. But baking keeps her busy until everyone returns to enjoy her special treat.

What Noise does a Rabbit Make:

As the sun came up - "cock-a-doodle-do!" - trumpeted the cockerel, and then all at once the farm rang out with the noises of the other animals. Amid the ruckus, Raggety-Taggle quietly nibbled the grass and wondered just what noise does a rabbit make? This is a great, rumbustuous animal noises book to read aloud to small children.

    • Thank you! She is both spayed and microchipped, and reported missing on Petlog and with the vets.   She normally never goes out the front, certainly for never more than 10-15 minutes, so this is definitely new territory for her. There is lots of dense foliage across the road so there are plenty of places she could be hiding if she is spooked, so we are hoping she will come back when she is calm. The weather isn't helping, she never goes out in the rain. Thank you again!
    • Hi, Have you been letting her out the front door onto the street or would this be a first & therefore unfamiliar with the area? Does she respond to a name & is she spayed & microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will of course be looking our for her. I hope you are reunited with her soon. If not already, notify your street & surrounding streets (find out if they have Whatsapp groups) Dox will print & deliver free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Call her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest. • A slightly delayed review but another one to echo Niko's praises. I had an issue with a cistern that needed replacing and Niko was attentive and did a great job. He was very diligent, explained what he was doing and fixed issues from a previous plumber's work. I will definitely ask for his help again if I have any issues in the future.
    • In good condition.  The seal should be intact.  Thanks
