Hi,

I'm looking for a childminder to pick up Miss Oi from Lyndhurst Primary School from September, and wondered if anyone could recommend someone. I'm new to finding a childminder (she's at a very local nursery for which I had a recommendation from a chum) and a bit at sea! I've got the Southwark list though I'm not sure how up-to-date it is.

Feel free to PM me.

thanks so much, I'm feeling rather feeble about it all - my baby is off to school! How did that happen!

Hi

We have 2 boys who will be in year 1 and year 3 at lyndhurst in september. We have a Kiwi nanny called Rin who we have employed for 6 years on and off with other families. This year she has been picking up 2 other boys and hosting at our house until 6PM but they are moving away. Rin brings her almost 4 year old boy with her (he does 3 hours nursery in the mornings somehwere else). So we are/ she is looking for another child to pick up to make it more worthwhile for her.

Give us a call if you want to discuss further. We are live almost opposite the school by the way.

all the best

Hi, don't know if you're still looking, but I'm looking for a childminder to pick up from Lyndhurst 4 days a week.

My son will start in reception in September. I would need the pick up until 4:30 Monday-Thursday, then I can collect. Your situation sounds ideal, so if you're happy to join forces, that would be great.

Best

    • It's unprofessional, and possibly illegal.  There are procedures to complain.
    • Occasionally when this happens, the estate agent is complicit. Had this happen to our neighbour and we later found that the house was bought by the sister of the estate agent at the reduced price. The agent is in an advantageous position as he/she is aware of the seller's circumstances and occasionally one will go rogue to do a favour for a relative/friend.
    • Hello, I have a new boxed (unwanted gift) Tefal Secure 5 that you could have.  The model is P2500731 and is a few years old, just been sitting in a cupboard, but it hasn’t even been unpacked.  I think a new version is about £70 so you can have it for £25?  If interested, please let me know and I can drop off to you if you like as we are on Brixton Hill but pass through ED most days.  Best wishes, Alison
