theboycj
Hi all A friend of mine is having difficulties with a boss, or ex-boss, of hers who has not paid up monies owed to her from her last few months salaries. She is bringing a small claims court challenge to said ex-boss but wanted to see if anyone could advise on if they knew any reputable solicitors/lawyers who could help by writing a letter informing her ex-boss of this in an effort to deal with this out of the courts? Any advice would be welcomed! Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/44872-employment-lawyer-letter/ Share on other sites
curlylocks
Has she contacted ACAS? http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1461 If by small claims you mean employment tribunal I think all cases have to go through ACAS for pre claim conciliation now anyway.Hope helpful. PokerTime
I defintely recommend having a chat with ACAS. They will be able to help and offer mediation services too.http://www.acas.org.uk/index.aspx?articleid=1342*Crossed posts but great minds think alike and all that :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/44872-employment-lawyer-letter/#findComment-750707 Share on other sites

muffins78
Acas are really helpful, and may also give you key phrases etc to use - they gave me a lot of information and help that I was not expecting. Tallulahdoesthehula
But is it an employment matter or simply breach of contract; wages unpaid? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/44872-employment-lawyer-letter/#findComment-750767 Share on other sites
