CBT and Counselling in Dulwich

Special Offer for EDF members - ?10 off per session (Please mention EDF when you contact me.)

I am a clinical psychologist with a private practice on Lordship Lane where I provide assessments and interventions for individuals (adolescents and adults) and couples.

There are a huge variety of different types of therapies available today. It can be confusing to know which type of approach is right for you. I am a fully qualified and professionally registered Clinical Psychologist. Clinical Psychologists are trained to work in a way that allows us to draw on many different therapeutic approaches. This ensures that I can provide therapy that is uniquely tailored to you.

I will be taking a sabbatical from the end of October 2014 until early January 2015. Therefore I am only available for assessments and brief therapy before then. Alternatively there could be a break for any clients who wish to start sessions before the end of October and then continue in the new year.

    • DKH was two form entry, it is now one form entry to cope with the fact it was far more under subscribed than other schools in the area. They had actually combined year groups into single classes, 3/4 and 5/6.  When a school changes name, it’s usually because of a bad reputation perhaps the results.  The new name is dry with no history unlike its current name. It’s a very sketchy decision. It’s an expensive vanity project for someone.  What  will happen if the name change does not increase applications to the school?
    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.  Update: I've just found this: https://services.southwark.gov.uk/community-safety/community-wardens The guy in the photo at the bottom of the page was the lovely warden of last night and I've just now remembered him telling me he's based in Burgess Park. Anyway, there needs to be more of them, as I rarely see one in Peckham.
    • Some of us oldies would associate Grove with the old Grove Vale School (which I went to in the 1950s)
