Wings, Ribs and Beer at The Old Nun's Head, Wednesday 4th June, 6-10pm

Recommended Posts

A culinary evening dedicated to Wings and Ribs! - brought to you by courtesy of Orange Buffalo, EVERY Wednesday night 6-10pm at The Old Nun's Head.

With the fantastic deal of Ribs, Wings and a bottle of craft beer for a tenner, and with a choice of 4 wing sauces (The Original, Woof Woof, Vincent (Man Gogh) and The Viper) there's no reason not to get down here on a Wednesday and get hot with some Wings!

And why not compete in our Viper challenge...?

4 chicken wings smothered in the hottest sauce available... No drinking or wiping allowed. The fasted times make it to our leader board - make it to the top 4 and the wings are FREE!

Are you 'hot' for the challenge...?

    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️

    • happy to buy, but would rather not buy a new one as only need it for a very short time (Hallowe'en). Please let me know if you have one in your cupboard that you don't use.
